San Francisco, Calif. – For its second year, Oracle Park will transform into the Ballpark Back 9, the Bay Area’s most unique 9-hole golf course. Participants will tee off from picturesque locations throughout the ballpark onto greens on the field, while enjoying an exclusive clubhouse experience in The Gotham Club – Oracle Park’s luxurious, one-of-a-kind private social club.
Last year’s sold-out, inaugural event hosted more than 4,000 golfers over four days. In 2023, the Ballpark Back 9 will expand to include five days of play from Wednesday, November 8 to Sunday, November 12, welcoming groups of two or four golfers. Dedicated caddies will again guide groups to nine tee boxes in locations spanning from Center Field to View Reserve, Club Level, the Bleachers and more before ending at a 10th hole putting challenge. Those interested in an added challenge can compete for the lowest score. Daily winners will win exclusive prizes.
All participants will have access to The Gotham Club, which will serve as the Ballpark Back 9’s Clubhouse. This private ballpark space, generally exclusive for members only, will offer amenities including lounge spaces, 20+ TVs displaying live sporting events, food and drink options (with a full bar) for purchase, a warm-up area, arcade games and more.
“We’re excited to bring this unique, multi-day event back to Oracle Park for year two,” said Joey Nevin, Vice President of Giants Enterprises. “The Ballpark Back 9 is unlike any other course, making it a one-of-a-kind opportunity for baseball and golf fans alike plus provides additional opportunities for guests to experience the best ballpark in Major League Baseball.”
Participants can choose from two ticket options. Player tickets start at $99 + fees and include a round of play, complimentary use of clubs and balls and pre- and post-play access to the Ballpark Back 9’s Clubhouse. Premium Tour Pro tickets start at $160 + fees and include all the benefits of Player tickets with additional perks including food and drink vouchers, a commemorative gift and additional gameplay. Spectator tickets will also be available.
Giants Season Ticket Members and partners will have exclusive access to a presale on Monday, September 11. Tee times will go on public sale beginning Tuesday, September 12 at 10 a.m. Tee times for twosomes and foursomes will begin at 8:30 a.m. November 8-10 and at 7 a.m. November 11-12.
