World-Class Expertise for Worldwide Events

At Giants Enterprises, we’ve built one of the top hospitality, event, entertainment and sports consultancy teams. We’re championship-grade professionals who have honed our skills managing giant-sized events for the most demanding clients.

Our clients? Major corporations, sports teams, municipalities, large-scale promoters and other organizations that need innovative thinking in event planning, followed with faultless execution on an enormous scale. So they turn to us.

We’re a wholly-owned subsidiary of the San Francisco Giants, one of Major League Baseball’s most successful franchises. We first earned our reputation by delivering major events in world-renowned AT&T Park. Now we’ve expanded that expertise, serving clients on the biggest stages anywhere.

Case Studies

Since our inception, we have produced thousands of private and public events, including major concerts, sporting and entertainment experiences.

Founded in 2000, Giants Enterprises was initially launched to maximize the opportunities presented by San Francisco’s new ballpark, ordinarily utilized more than 80 days a year for baseball games. Since then? We’ve had an outstanding track record of bringing world-class events to AT&T Park and the Bay Area.

Thanks to our visionary planning and development capabilities, a vast network, broad organizational resources, and a best-in-class consultancy and management team, Giants Enterprises has been recognized as San Francisco’s leader in creating innovative, entrepreneurial events and in commercializing major events and venues.

MPI World Education Congress Opening Night at PIER 48

2,000+ Spectators
45 Performers
1 Unforgettable Night

2016 International Live Events Association (ILEA) Esprit Award Winning Event - "Best Event for a Non-Profit"

View Esprit Award Press Release

Envision 45 roaming performers - Circus Antics, Jellyfish Parade, Avantgarde Dancers, colossal characters, contortionists, break dancers, a Three Ring Circus of Curiosities, three solo aerialists, stilt walkers, a trash can band and performances covering a century of San Francisco music, and you’ll have Meeting Professionals International’s “Circus of the Unique and Strange.” MPI welcomed 2,000 professionals on Opening Night to its annual World Education Congress in San Francisco on August 1, 2015. Held at Pier 48, a warehouse located directly across McCovey Cove and AT&T Park, The Opening Night Celebration merged the House of Blues with Moulin Rouge, then spiced it up with touches of Barbary Coast and circus fantasy. The variety and sheer amount of entertainment made this four-hour event immersive, interactive and mind-blowing.

Networking was critical to the success of this event. The music couldn’t be too loud and the program so busy that it didn’t facilitate guest interaction. Because it had to be intriguing but still feel like "background noise," we brought in the circus freak element, which included women in corsets and ruffled skirts and entertainers dressed in tiger costumes. Magicians, mentalists, contortionists, aerial artists, a clown-faced trash can band, mimes and more. To pull it all together we sporadically had aerial performances put on a show. Guests were stopped in their tracks with mouths agape as aerial artists, hanging from the rafters by red cloth or metal hoops, performed mind-blowing dances above their heads.

The Barbary Coast theme played into our waterfront San Francisco location at Pier 48. We built a wooden structure in the ceiling for rigging canopies and chandeliers, odd shaped lighting – everything from round to geometric shapes. This drew in the room to make everything more closely connected. We also anchored the far end of the space with a massive video wall (65’ wide x 10’ tall) featuring a static image of the Golden Gate Bridge and a backdrop that changed from dawn to dusk to fireworks at night.

The building was divided into 3 zones, each with its own sound system and entertainment quiet enough not to interfere with conversations. One area was a Barbary Coast Piano bar; another, a three-ring circus of curiosities such as a mentalist and a magician/sword swallower. Participants felt a part of this integrated experience, and all the performers were not only approachable but joined guests to converse.

The entertainment was the cornerstone of this event in this huge facility. Folks could wander from one area to the next, never ceasing to find a cozy area to sit and chat with old and new friends or watch bizarre entertainment. Entertainment was programmed so that alternating areas had continuous performances throughout the night and aerial entertainers were timed at 45 minute intervals. While traveling to the event, guests were entertained by a black and white vintage video entitled, “A Trip down Market Street 1906.” Set to the music of Scott Joplin, it featured scenes of historic San Francisco filmed in April 1906 from the front of a cable car 4 days before the infamous 8.2 magnitude earthquake! The entrance was enclosed in red, orange and gold fabric; the floor lit in a red glowing pattern. The perfect mix of modern and classic.

At the conclusion of the event, both our client and guests gave us rave reviews. The Opening Night Celebration was the perfect way to kick off the three-day conference and introduce all WEC attendees to the beautiful destination that San Francisco is.
